Xavier Miles signs with Syracuse

     Xavier Miles made his college decision and signed his NLI to Syracuse University at the beginning of the month. Xavier was a 3-year starter for the Marauders and started on both the defensive and offensive line last season. Read more about his commitment here on SI.com.

NJFCA Super 100 All-State Selections

The New Jersey Football Coaches Association (NJFCA) held it's annual Super 100 All-State luncheon on Sunday, March 10th. Seniors Joe Asiain and Cooper LaFond were selected to this year's team. Joe and Cooper were both captains for the Marauders last season and head to Stanford and Fordham next fall respectively.

Hassan Moore selected to All-Star Team

     Another senior player with something to celebrate this month was DB/WR Hassan Moore. Hassan was selected to the 2024 Phil Simms North-South All-Star game. The game is played June 9, 2024 at Kean University (5pm). The premier state-wide all-star game promises to be an exciting event once again this year.
​​              The North has won 3 straight games. Last year, Prep had two coaching connections to the game. Previous Prep assistant OL coach Roman Oben served as the North's honorary head coach. Head Football Coach Rich Hansen served as the North's defensive coordinator and set the tone for a defensive battle in a 10-6 North squad win. A recap can be viewed here.

Brandon Wimbush returns to campus

       Brandon Wimbush, '15 returned to campus at the end of February to participate in a Black History Month assembly. He was joined on a panel including Olympic Medalist & civil rights activist Dr. John Carlos and classmate Clark Burnett, '15. Brandon shared about his experiences at Prep and beyond, including leading the team to a state championship in 2014. Brandon still holds the Marauder single-season passing record for his performance during that year with 3,187 yards. Now, Wimbush leads MOGL, a company he co-founded with a Notre Dame classmate. MOGL seeks to help collegiate athletes navigate Name, Image, and Likeness (NLI). Read more about the assembly and the Ebony Club's 50th anniversary celebration on Prep's website here.
